During our school break, our teachers and students have been doing various projects. One of the projects has been planting banana trees. Here are the pictures that tell the story:
High upon a hill top, some of our teachers and students are clearing the hillside to plant banana trees.
Clearing brush.

More clearing!
While some were cutting brush and digging holes, some of the teachers and students went across the river to an old banana plantation to dig up banana trees.
Digging up banana trees.
Then they carried the banana trees to a pile.
Here is a pile of banana trees.
Cooking for the hard workers.
Once they are finished cutting the banana trees, they carry them down to the boat.
Here is the boat that they are loading the banana trees into.

Loading them into the boat.
The loaded boat is now on its way down the river to our school.
The boat finally arrives.
The boat is tied up and the students and teachers carry the banana trees up the sandy bank to a pile.
Taking a break.
Then the students load the truck to haul the banana trees to the planting sites.
Unloading the banana trees to be carried up the hillside to be planted.
Up the hillside they go.
The banana trees are now planted just in time to get the rains from the rainy season. We planted over 2000 banana trees! Praise God!
