• Planting Banana Trees

    During our school break, our teachers and students have been doing various projects. One of the projects has been planting banana trees. Here are the pictures that tell the story:

    While some were cutting brush and digging holes, some of the teachers and students went across the river to an old banana plantation to dig up banana trees.

    Then they carry the banana tree to a pile.

    Once they are finisher cutting the banana trees, then they are carried down to the boat.

    The loaded boat is now on its way down the river to our school.

    The boat is tied up and the students and teachers carry the banana trees up the sandy bank to a pile.

    Then the students load the truck to be hauled to the planting sites.

    The banana trees are now planted just in time to the rains from the rainy season.

    The banana trees are now planted just in time to get the rains from the rainy season. We planted over 2000 banana trees! Praise God!
