Medical and Bible Outreach Training

Our main teachers are: Thara Ehkinyah, Tharamu Hannah, Tharamu Lorna, Thara Daniel, Thara Kelly, and Tharamu Brenda. The main subjects that we will be covering in the program are: Bible Teachings and Issues; Bible Storytelling; Living the Gospel; History of the Christian Church; Witnessing, Bible and Leadership Skill; Christian Marriage and Family; Education and Teaching Skills; Ministry of Health and Healing; Health Talks; Village Health Improvements; Medical History; Physical Examination; Anatomy and Physiology; Disease–Symptoms and Treatments; First Aid and Medic. From time to time we will have visiting teachers teach some other subjects like Midwifery, Dentistry, Hydrotherapy and Massage. Some other things we do in our program are: doing Branch Sabbath Schools, picnics, working on the school grounds, and doing health assessments in villages. Here are some pictures of our school life. We drive for about 15 minutes and then we hike in to the village
After a 1 kilometer hike, we arrive at the village.

After we finish, we head out to visit other homes.

Next we headed to another house as the rain came down hard and the trails turned into little rivers.

Then we had worship
Then we played indoor games till it was time to go home.

After visiting several homes, we were invited to a wonderful meal.
Then we were invited to attend their Sunday worship and sing songs and tell Bible stories to the children.

Finished, we head back home.
