• Great Opportunities

Could the Lord be calling you to serve Him in foreign mission service? There are worthy needs around the world. At Sunshine Orchard, there are many areas where consecrated workers are needed. These are some of the most pressing:

    • English teacher: Our next school year is currently scheduled to run from May 13, 2013, to March 5, 2014. We need one or two teachers to help teach English for grades 1 to 8. You don’t have to be an English expert.
    • Garden manager: Most of our teachers and students love to work in the gardens. However, it is not always easy for them to think “out of the box” and do things differently than they have done for generations. We greatly need someone with a “green thumb” who enjoys working with people. Don’t take this need lightly; remember, “Working the soil is one of the best kinds of employment, calling the muscles into action and resting the mind. Study in agricultural lines should be the A, B, and C of the education given in our schools. This is the very first work that should be entered upon.” (6T 179) We believe that there is great potential for someone who will patiently lead the teachers and youth step by step to see ways that they can improve the production of the soil and be more self-sustaining.
    • Many more opportunities: The two positions above seem to be the most urgent, but there are many other needs for willing helpers.

I urge you to pray that God will make clear to you the work He has for you. There is no time to waste.
